1 Thessalonians

The Apostle Paul started the church in Thessaloniki, but then had to leave a mere three weeks later, due to persecution. Would this fledgling church survive? How would they cope without the Apostle Paul? Would the church fall apart? 1 Thessalonians is Paul’s first letter back to the church after leaving; a letter which is heart-warming and encouraging but also deeply motivating as he urges them to keep living the life Jesus has called them, as they await Christ’s imminent return.
